Now that the warmer weather is approaching, it is a great time to consider booking an appointment with your doctor to have a skin check.

Warning signs of a potentially dangerous skin spot include the colour and size, change in shape, development of a new spot or anything else that seems unusual. Even if you have been sunsmart, it is important to check you skin regularly for any changes.

Annual skin checks are recommended from as young as 20 years of age. Skin checks are especially important for fair skinned people, red heads and people with lots of moles.
