Flu Vaccinations

Ocean Grove Medical Clinic wish to advise that there is a delay with the government funded flu vaccinations.  We anticipate we will receive supply sometime in mid to late April.

The clinic currently has some private flu vaccinations in stock. These vaccinations cost $15 per vaccination.

The Australian Department of Health suggest that protection following influenza vaccination may begin to wane after 3 to 4 months, and timing of vaccinations should aim at achieving the highest level of protection during the period of influenza virus circulation, usually around August.

To maximise our patients protection against the influenza virus Ocean Grove Medical Clinic will be holding “Flu Vaccination Clinics” during the months of May & June.
