Dr Ama Liyanapatabendi

After graduating in 2009 AMA worked as a doctor in Sri Lanka for 8 years before migrating to Australia in 2017. She has worked at Albury Wodonga Health and University Hospital Geelong in various departments before joining general practice.

Ama has special interests in general medicine, Mental Health, family planning. She aspires to provide a non-judgmental general practice experience and welcomes patients of all backgrounds (including LGBTQI).

Ama is a mum of a beautiful baby girl and loves supporting families as they navigate the challenges and joys of parenthood.

Outside of work, Ama enjoys spending time with her family, participating in reformer Pilates and swimming.
